Terms of Service
Article 1. Purpose and service overview
These terms set out the basic rules for providing and using WaPPo (the “Service”).
WaPPo is a free raid recruitment, signup, soft-reserve (SR) management and community service for World of Warcraft players. Service and privacy inquiries may be sent to contact@wafo.top.
WaPPo is not an official Blizzard Entertainment service and is not officially affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
Article 2. Eligibility and login
1. The Service is available only to people aged 14 or older.
2. Users confirm during the service access process that they are at least 14 years old. The Service does not require a date of birth or identity document.
3. Features requiring login are available after authentication with a Discord account.
4. Users must register only accounts and character information they are authorized to use and must not impersonate others or use another person's account without permission.
5. Discord login alone does not constitute official verification of ownership of a registered game character.
Article 3. Features provided
Features include character registration and selection, raid creation and recruitment, schedule and recruitment requirements, applications, approvals, waitlists and cancellations, submission, editing and viewing of soft reserves, run-specific messages, notifications, forums, comments, upvotes and bug reports.
Access to each feature may depend on account permissions, raid participation status and the run's visibility and closing settings.
Article 4. Raid participation and soft reserves
1. Raid leaders may set the run's schedule, recruitment numbers and requirements, participation approvals, SR limits and deadlines, and loot distribution rules.
2. Applicants must review the rules and visibility shown on screen before applying or submitting soft reserves.
3. Soft reserves record and manage advance interest in specific items. They do not guarantee that the user will receive those items in the game.
4. Recruitment, approvals, cancellations and schedule changes are applied according to the run's settings and the actions of authorized users.
5. Raid members are responsible for conducting the raid, distributing in-game items and honoring their commitments. This does not exempt the service operator from liability under law.
Article 5. Forums, comments and messages
1. Rights to posts and comments belong to their authors or the relevant rights holders.
2. Users must not post content that infringes others' privacy, reputation, copyright or other rights.
3. The Service displays public posts and raid information as needed to provide the relevant features. This does not grant the operator unlimited rights to commercially reuse the content.
4. Run-specific messages are available to authorized raid leaders and relevant applicants or participants. Users must not access or disclose others' conversations without authorization.
5. When a user closes their account, their posts and comments are no longer made public, and their content and author identifiers are deleted. Content written by others is not deleted without authorization; an empty marker such as “Deleted post” may remain where needed.
6. Messages are retained for 90 days from creation. Subsequent deletion follows the Privacy Policy.
Article 6. Prohibited conduct
Users must not impersonate others' accounts or characters, disclose personal information without permission, infringe rights through spam, harassment or threats, post illegal content, bypass security or access controls, disrupt the Service with repeated requests, or abuse forum, upvote or notification features.
The operator may restrict relevant content or features to the extent necessary under applicable law and verified usage circumstances. Appeals may be sent to contact@wafo.top.
Article 7. Privacy and ending use
1. Users may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing or account closure at contact@wafo.top.
2. Personal information such as account and character information is generally deleted without delay following account closure. Minimal facts about a run needed by other raid members may be retained after identifiers are removed. Information subject to a legal retention duty is handled separately according to its legal basis and retention period.
3. Account closure and deletion requests are handled under applicable law after identity is confirmed using the minimum necessary means.
4. Logging out or deleting one character does not close the entire account.
5. Detailed processing categories, retention periods, international transfers, exercise of rights and destruction procedures follow the Privacy Policy.
Article 8. Service changes and temporary interruptions
The operator may change or temporarily suspend part of the Service when necessary for security, incidents, maintenance or feature improvements. Changes materially affecting users' rights or obligations will be announced under applicable law, and any required consent process will be followed.
No provision shall be interpreted as a blanket exemption from the operator's intentional misconduct or liability under law.
Article 9. Fees and external services
WaPPo's core features are currently free. These terms alone do not create usage fees or automatic donations. External sites and separate services such as Discord may be subject to their providers' terms. If paid features are introduced, transaction terms will be provided separately under applicable law.
Article 10. Changes to terms and disputes
When these terms change, the Service will announce the changes and their effective date under applicable law. Changes requiring separate consent will follow the required procedure; continued use alone does not replace every form of separate consent.
Service inquiries and disputes may be sent to contact@wafo.top. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply, and legal jurisdiction is determined by applicable law.
These terms apply from the date the finalized text is first published on the site and the necessary notice and consent procedures are in place.
